KIDS CLASS ASSISTANT
BELLA ESPINOSA
Bella began taking jiu jitsu classes in 2014, when she was 8 years old and is currently a 3 stripe blue belt, under Spencer Reeves at Boone Docks MMA.
Bella faced bullies, anxiety and ADHD throughout middle school and high school and credits jiu jitsu with bringing her through those trials with confidence and strength. Bella is eager to share her knowledge and strength with a new generation of kids so that they might walk confidently in the face of their own personal battles.

SANTIAGO ESPINOSA
Santiago began training jiu jitsu in 2014 and is currently a brown belt under Spencer Reeves at Boone Docks MMA.
Santiago is a gifted teacher and a passionate leader. He began taking jiu jitsu classes in order to learn a new skill but quickly feel in love with the sport, the lifestyle and the community. Santiago has been married to his wife, Kristin, for 24 years and they have two children. Their whole family trains with us at Grounded Arts and his daughter is our kids class assistant!
Santiago's hope, through Grounded Arts, is to share his knowledge and cultivate a jiu jitsu community that will serve the people of Ashe County for generations to come.
